What if there is a Blizzard or Huge Snow Storm? Lifestylez suggests you check the weather reports prior to departing for Colorado…if www.weather.com is predicting a “huge” snowstorm to hit the Highways on the day of your driving/traveling expedition…we then suggest you leave a day or two early to avoid the storm….it is easier to get to Colorado early and check into a cheap hotel outside of town VS. driving through a huge storm….if you happen to be be driving through a storm, if you are not comfortable in the conditions…pull over in the closest town and rent a Hotel room….get a good nights sleep and wait for the storm to blow over!! Better Safe than Sorry!!
You will need to prepare your vehicle with the appropriate equipment. The roads to Winter Park are well maintained and easily accessible via major State Highways. Lifestylez recommends car pooling with good tunes and enjoyable friends.
